I was honored to photograph, Virginia Johnson, the artistic director of Dance Theatre of Harlem. Virginia has served as a role model for young black dancers and has exemplified American classical dancing. Over her years of performing, Virginia had the opportunity to perform for U.S. presidents Carter and Reagan.
Working with the dance company of Dance Theatre of Harlem was an inspiring project. My goal was to show the passion, drive, and dedication it takes to reach their level of excellence. Dance Theatre of Harlem has been the leading ballet company of African-American and other racial diverse artists who perform the most demanding repertory at the highest level of quality for 45 years.
It was an awesome Saturday bike ride, met up with some great friends and saw this cute guy on the way. It is always a pleasure working with bideawee, the leading pet welfare organization serving metropolitan New York and Long Island. I’m thrilled to see our work with Henry in Times Square.
